Okay so I’ve decided to do a short round; twenty-three days. My niece just started doing the HCG and is doing very well, so I thought why not go on and finish out those last eight pounds, so here I am. I have been away from the HCG for quite a while and was stable at 126. Some Facebook HCGers have started a October/November challenge so I decided to sign up for that in order to have the support of a group. I loaded for just one day; my start weight was 125.4lbs. yes I actually lost weight on my load. Today I weighed in at 124.4lbs total 1.0 lbs released. I am looking forward to doing this quick round and get it out of the way before the holidays!
This is a re-post so new people don’t have to look far for it!
I know there are a lot of people who have tried this or that in terms of food, which they’ve declared “good” on the protocol. But I’ve found that when I eat “clean” meaning sticking strictly to Dr. Simeon’s food plan, I release weight more quickly. Don’t get me wrong, I love the mac nuts and the coconut oil and I do lose; but not as quickly. Also I noticed certain food combinations such as fish and greens (spinach, collard, kale asparagus etc.) give me a much greater loss. I sometimes will split my meals up so that I am eating throughout the day; for example, I may eat veggies at mid-morning, a protein at lunch, a fruit or wassa bread late lunch, veggie at dinner and protein late dinner. I don’t eat after five or six on most days, and my body is accustom to that, so I don’t get hungry.
Dr. Simeon’s Plan
Breakfast: Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours. Saccharin or Stevia may be used.
Lunch: 100 grams of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken breast must be removed from the bird.
One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.
One breadstick (grissino), Wassa Bread or Melba toast.
An apple or a handful of strawberries or one-half grapefruit.
Dinner : The same four choices as lunch.

I’ve been working out and eating right to make sure I maintain. I gotta tell ya, I am really loving the way I look in my clothes now. I actually no longer dread going through my closet! Today I tried on several outfits that I haven’t been able to wear in a while; I am super excited! I must say the rewards of this journey have been off the charts. I just wished I hadn’t wasted so much time cheating and starting over but I am here so no use saying “Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda”. It feels so good to be working out again as my body is still changing. HCG worked for me and although it works, it’s not for everybody. You have to have a strong desire to lose and keep the weight off; you have to have self-control and you must follow the plan, period. Once you reach that level, you won’t be fat again.
I just want to show some love to my girl Diane who is doing some wonderful things on The Curvy Goddess scene. She talks here about love, my favorite kind of love, self-love! She shares feelings that most of us really wouldn’t admit, but you’ll see the importance of being honest with yourself and where that might take you. It’s definitely the first step to luvinthyself!
